I have not been good at this blog thing lately...

I have not checked my yahoo mail account in a month. I have not done alot of posting on the message boards. I have been out of the loop I guess.

My trip to St. Louis with my youngest was nice. We had a long drive there and a long drive back. While we were there we got to see family we hadn't seen in ages. I am very glad I went.

The kids are doing well in school. Marisa had a great quarter and is bringing up her grades. Jordan is still doing well and going through altar server training. Christian is doing as well aademically here at St. Joe's as he did in the public school. He read a petition at school mass this morning. Adrian is doing very well. His teacher said he beat out the best math student in a contest hands down. Dominic is starting to come out of his shell at school.

We had birthdays last month, both during Holy Week. We were in mass every morning. I so miss that with my kids. I didn't take advantage of taking them as often as I would have liked, but I had the option. I hope that summer has us in Mass more often.

That is what is new here with us. Hopefully, I can get back here more often and post what is new.

So much to do, so little time...

Today is Wednesday. Tomorrow, Dominic and I are traveling with my parents and my aunt. My parents are renting a Dodge Charger and the 5 of us are going to St. Louis for my grandmother's 80th bitrthday party on Saturday.

I have laundry to finish up, breakfast dishes to wash and a house to clean. My mother-in-law will pick up the other 4 kids on Friday after school and keep them until Sunday because dh has a lot to do this weekend for our church.

Our lotsofkids.com blog is up now and ready to read. You can read it at lotsofkidsbloggers.blogspot.com. There is alot to read there. I would like to thank the owners of the lotsofkids.com website for allowing me to participate on their blog. Thanks Michelle and Jim!!!

One final thought before I have to run to take care of laundry. I am so ready for another baby. It just does not seem to be happening for us and it maks me terribly sad. I am really hoping and praying that this is my month.

Names we go by

My name is Danielle. Kids call me mom, mommy, momma. When they call me too often, I insist they call me Queen. There are 5 kidlets. They keep me grounded and in no way keep me feeling young.

Dh is Isaac, aka bux. We have been married for 12 years. He is the love of my life and calls me bees.

My oldest kidlet goes by Pea, Poop. She is our only girl and is 12 years old now. She is our rose amongst our thorns.

Next, we have our 9 yo son. He prefers to go by his name - his given one-but we call him Giordano and when he was a baby, I called him my little guy.

Our second oldest son and our middle child goes by Stock, Puff, Puffy, Stocking Stuffer Puffer when it is Christmas Season. He likes all of them and knows he is in trouble when I call him by his given name.

We follow up our Puff man with Pud. Pud is actually short for Agey pagey puddin pie. I think this is this only nickname he goes by.

Last, but certainly not least is our baby. Our baby is not like most babies. He is 3. I call him Punkin, Pecan and Frankie. I aslo call him baby, sweetie and angel.

With 5 kidlets and 2 parents, our house is full of nicknames.
